Does a laminova oil/water cooler such as M-C43-0907-10-M32 fit into the normal cooling system? Ie after the rad outlet and before the engine inlet.
The Laminova oil cooler has two oil connections and two water connections. The water from the flow between the engine and radiator passes through the Laminova.
The oil passes through a space surrounded by the finned water pipe. Heat is transferred from the oil to the water.
It a very efficient way to stabilise the oil and water temperatures, on start up when the oil is cold the water heats the oil to operating temperature. When running the oil will be hotter than the water and heat will transfer from the oil to the water.
The existing radiator needs to have sufficient cooling capacity to dissipate the het from both the oil and wter.
